Acid Death
Títle Pieces of Mankind
Label Copro Records

At last we have the opportunity to listen to this work of the Death metal Stephen King fans ACID DEATH that edited this “Pieces of Mankind” in 1998 thruogh a record labelwithout enough strength to launch it further than the hellenistic land. Now, this “Metallic Creature” appears all over the world, and is two years old (it walks for itself...). Thus, this is their debut in the market, after Eps such as “Apathy Murders Hope” or the one shared with Avulsed in ’94.

Its evolution from that moment has been very succesful, putting aside its most brutal side and experimenting with new stuff. Tracks like Our Shadow show some similitude with latest generation heavy metal; on the other hand, themes such as My Destination (where they play a surprising kind of Ska ) have a very progressive atmosphere. Moreover, symphonic pieces are available in songs like “Liquid Heaven”. Further influences such as traditional or jazz have helped in the actual formation. Provided they continue with their actual trend, the greeks may become great innovators of the next millenium’s metallic scene.
