Títle Tales From Distant Skies And Far Beyond (2003)
Label

Referring to Mexico when talking about music isn't something you frequently do, at least when the music is Metal; I don't know whether shows like Operación Triunfo and similar idiocies are popular in South America, though (although everyone knows about the soaps). In any case, you can always find a little of everything everywhere. This is not the exception, and from Mexico comes this band of epic Power Metal, where the best thing we can find is the guitar and the enthusiasm of the musicians, because the rest is really quite poor.

A very limited voice, very basic, typical and monotonous rhythms, canned drums... There are some melodies that sound interesting, but nothing worth investing the time it takes to get another beer in the fridge after finishing the previous one. Additionally, and this is what definitely sinks the record, it has a resemblance to Rhapsody, but to a shabby Rhapsody, and that is really all we needed: another Rhapsody, but a poor version at that. You just can't take it seriously; it's like if we tried to convince you that Coronita is the official Paranoia Metal Show beer. Keep on trying...
