Oh my god! If
listening to Masterplan or Symphony X is an amusing experience…
If listening alone the voices of Jorn Lande and Russell Allen
is something terrific… having them in the same disc is
just like an atom bomb! An it is called "The Battle",
the best title for this awesome disc where along its 12 tracks
the voices of this pair of genius are equaly shown, unleashing
a magistral vocal battle, full of feeling, quality and expressivity.
And it couldn't be less with those two magical voices. A face
to face duel, in which neither Allen nor Lande try to exceed
the other, a fairly balanced battle in which the winner is,
with no doubt, the listener, because he can enjoy that oral
struggle and at the same time boast about having a 12-tracks
cd of great musical and compositive level writen by the guitarist
Magnus Karlsson (Starbreaker and Last Tribe) who though in the
begining gets relegated in a second place for obvious reasons,
is the real author of this Hard Rock master piece.
And the best thing is that the more you listen to it, the more
you like it. Hard Roack, Russell Allen, Jorn Lande fans, and
the people looking for talent have reasons to celebrate it and
will enjoy this great battle.
